Cheap De-cat pipes made to order!

At the time of posting, it was correct :)

However, my own car passed its MOT in June of this year, with no EGR's and no CAT.

The downpipe was removed, and replaced with a straight through pipe. The EGR pipes from the manifold were blanked, and the valves no longer attached to the engine

No bribing of the tester occurred

That's good to hear that some testers are taking a more level approach to the test rather than that prescribed. EGR systems currently not tested but what's the betting they will be next?

The EGR system is hard to test. This is the likely reason it's not tested already.
The EGR is designed to reduce NOx levels in the exhaust at pre-set points in the drive cycle. Unless the removal of the EGR valve puts the MIL on. The Mot tester wouldn't know without actually checking the EGR system for modifications.
