CDL addition to D2

I would recondition the new box first with kit from Ashcroft, not knowing it's history..... (if I went down total swap route).

I know I can get lever/linkage from Ashcroft and they do a kit fir CDL, but it's quite pricey!!!

I didnt have a CDL eqipped transfer box on my 2002 Discovery.
I got hold of a 2004 box with the diff lock internals and replaced the whole thing.

The geniune diff lock lever assembly is no longer available from LR, and would be over £400+vat if it was !!.

I have managed to modify a standard high/low lever to work 99% the same as the original one.

You can see it next to a brand new, VERY, VERY, rare factory assembly !.

i do now

i'm an auto spark , CDL means Central Door Locking in my world.
