Cant see where this cable connects to: L322 B8 M62 BMW

I hope a kind soul can tell me where this cable goes?

Hi,

On further investigation it was the camshaft sensor (UK drivers side) and for some reason (perhaps it is normal) the plug (female) connected to a male plug instead of the on the passengers side whereby it connected to a male plug on the wire box on top of the injectors.

I had buried the female plug underneath the fuel rail - plonker
