Heya!

Im comming back to the world of the freelander have had a few years driving fast and great handling cars - none feel special though compared to teh freelander

So is the TD4 still recomended as the best engine? What should I look out for? Im actually buying from my local stealer has my parents have a very good relationship with them and I know they will do me well :)

Thanks

James

Hello James
Yes imo the td4 is the way to go

But I would proceed with caution when talking to a dealer
They are only interested in the bottom line !:D

So why not post the deal on here for all to see
And the nice people here will tell you how good the deal is

And If the salesman is that friendly to your family
Just ask him to let you have it at trade price

good luck

how worried should i be about reliability?

I am a student, and stretching myself to afford one..its it likely to dump its load all over my parking spot and leave me with a huge bill do you think?

who knows?
there are some horendous stories on here, but some peeps obviously like them.
All you can do is find out as much as possible and make your own mind up.
The diesels are better than the petrol models, but can still run up huge bills very quickly.
