i only do 3000 miles a year(when its running!), and dunno how long ill have the motor for so think its worth a punt.

i fitted the orange one's to my disco an am pleased with the performance of them

an the orange kit you posted looks a good deal,
i think!

Dunno, but they're both crap.
Stick to OEM rubber bushes, unless yer wanna be changing them all again in 6 months.

could you elaborate more whey they are crap and OEM better?

I was thinking of getting a set of bushes like that, but if someone says its crap, I have to think twice.
Have you had bad experiences with this type of bushes?

cheers

in my experience, original bushes will last 18 - 20 years before they need to be replaced (MOT failed)

you'll notice a slight improvement to steering/handling if you fit any of the many poly type replacements

most of the poly replacements will fail within 18-20 months

you'll find lots of people raving about how good their new poly bushes are - that's because they've replaced their existing bushes that could all have been in excess of 15 years old, so you'd expect to notice the difference

keep looking and you'll find more than a few people who are starting to find that the poly bushes they raved about not so long ago are failing

as with that blue silicone hose, people appear to believe that because it's a nice color that it's a good product, when it fact it's seldom any better than the (much cheaper) original item

thanks for that Sean..
Completly understand what you say, so basically, both, OEM and the polly, will improve handling on the same way (when they are new), the added factor is the OEM will last longer. thanks!

Ref the silcone blue hoses, from what I've read and previous experience on performance cars is that the "blue" hoses don't expand as normal rubber hoses..
similar concept to why changing to braided hoses, they don't expand, therefore keeping your brakes nice and sharp with no fading...

standard fit hoses dont either, and cost a fraction of the price

fitting so called performance parts to a standard landy is just a waste of money

save yer money by fitting standard parts - spend what you save on fuel and beer, when i am PM that will be law

Well ill be gtting the poly bushes. There seems to be a lot of peps saying they aint no good but only nickh75 has said hes had em and hes happy with em.Although his will last long cos it took him 3 weeks to fit em!:D

18 to 20 years?? I wish!

My normal bushes only last a year before they are knackared. Well at least front radius arm bushes anyhow. If you offroad regularly they will last bugger all time. I fitted some blue comfort polybush ones and they have lasted about a year so far but I am thinking they will be knackared pretty soon. Jai

I hope you understand that the Landys used different size bushes on the radius arms for some years between models. Jai
