Hi all, I want to change the lower tie rod again. The p.no. for it is KKH102680 MY2004 auto (same as V6) but different to all the other eng. types. The one that was on it when I got it had the counter balance weight on it & the one I replaced it with last time didn't.
Does anybody know for sure which type should be fitted to the TD4 (or v6) ? The genuine parts list doesn't show the counter balance weight type for any eng. just different p. no's !
Also are all the larger bushes the same on all types as this bush is available separately see link.Kit bushes of The engine mount For Land Rover Freelander 1996-2006 | eBay
Many thanks.

Don't know part numbers I am afraid. What I can tell you is my TD4 has the counterweight. The large bush from a 1.8 fits in a TD4.
Also, I tried a poly large bush from a Rover 75 in the TD4 and took it out again due to vibration!!

Thanks for that,I'll order the large bush & fit it to my original lower tie bar. The one I fitted 20,000 miles ago, after market, ordered under the correct p. no but didn't have the counter weight, doesn't seem to have lasted that long so I'll see how the replacement bush fares.
I'm sure a man of your caliber already has the link to a LR 'classic' parts list ;) but here's the link just in case. Search Genuine Land Rover Parts By Model | Jaguar Land Rover Classic Parts

Thanks, I meant I didn't have part numbers for the tie rods with and without the balance weight. As you say, not detailed.
