Hi all, done most jobs on the landy but never the rear hubs...

Anyway I topped up the rear diff last night, and after a drive this morning I notice both hubs are leaking oil onto the wheels - assume it's not much of a job to replace the seals??

More concerning is, I noticed what appears to be the drive shaft protruding by about 1cm, I pushed it back in but figure it will slide around when driving? How the hell do I fix that - is it bearings related?

Appreciate your thongs gets

Chris

What vehicle are you working on? Drum or disc rear axle? Oh, and thongs are probably not the best for working on rear hubs........too much bending over to be done ;)
