Hi Ben84
Just type in Electric windows in the search box at the top, there is a diagram showing what to do, its probably a dry joint on the board behind the glove box.

Got the ecu out which was hard work. The only thing is i dont know what a dry joint looks like any advice anyone.
Cheers Ben.

solderjoints1200.jpg

1.This is a good joint with a smooth shiny appearance.
2. There is not enough solder on this joint.
3. This is a 'cold' joint with a rough, dull crystalline appearance. This is caused by moving the joint as it is cooling or by taking solder to the joint on the soldering iron.
4. This is a 'dry joint' where the solder has not flowed onto the PCB track.
5. This is a solder bridge onto an adjacent track. This board has a green 'solder resist' coating on the tracks. The solder resist may prevent a short circuit but even so, solder bridges like this should be avoided.

The board is generaly green but the odd solder you can see abit of yellow should the solder cover that as well other than that the ecu looks fine compared with your diagram.
Cheers again Ben

Ive gone over the hole ECU and both electric sunroofs are still not working. Is there any more ideas that would be great.
Cheers again Ben.

Hi ben84,
The problem could be in your control unit, which serves both sunroofs, and is fitted above the front switches and benind the headlining, to get it out and check it you will have to do as listed below.
1.Disconnect battery neg. terminal
2.ensure sunroof is in closed position
3.remove switch panel from stowage pocket
4.remove interior lamp from stowage pocket
5.remove alarm ultrasonic unit
6.unscrew 10 fixings and remove stowage pocket from headlining
7.disconnect electric plugs from control unit
8.remove 2 retaining screws and control unit.
Check it out with a multi meter or have it checked by an auto elec. make sure there is power to the switches, if so the chances are its the control unit.

Hope this helps

Hi Ben84,
Forgot to say you can open / close the sunroofs with an allan key put into the spindle of the motor, but make sure they are in the closed position before you remove the motor and don't turn it when the motor in off, or the park position will be different.

Cheers.

Hope this helped and hope you get it sorted out, if there is power to the ecu then it can only be the ecu, the motors or the linkage on the rails at fault ( i think)

Cheers

still havent got the sunroofs sorted.i was getting no reading from the switches so went down to the fuse box replaced the fuse any way still nothing gave it a wiggle and i got power to the switches but still nothing happened but then the other day turned the key and the front sunroof opened up by it self i could close it with the switch but then nothing how crazy is that.oh and the rear one i think the motor may have gone
