The door hand wont work in the boot - a bit annoying as i keep getting locked in ! when i take the back pannel off everything is connected around the handle and it seems to pull a white bit of plastic - but the latch does not move - do i need a new latch ? or is there something i can glue or replace to get things moving again ?

don't know if you have done this but if you remove the landy badge from the handle you can see into the other side of it and try and spray some wd40 all over it thats what i did on mine anyway hope this helps.

thanks - but the outdoor handle works - its the indoor one that wont do anything , ive taken the boot panel off around the handle and everything still looks connected - just does not move the cam to open the latch !

thinking about it i think is but i can't check as mine is at the garage being fixed, coolant problem  but someone ells may be able to tell you.

yes but it is but it may off come of the metal bit that puts it on the takes it off child lock... dad did mine bwt 2 months ago

a bit tricky if its that ....wer u live ?

humm could not see a childlock , ive opened it up and secured what i think was the child lock with a ziptie.. hope that solves it !

Is it disco 1 or 2 i've had a very similar problem (disco 2) but mine wouldn't open from either side. managed to fight with the panel and get it off and release the latch, took it all out and checked it all over cleaned and oiled it put it back same problem still there turned out to be the cable for the high level brake light and something else can't remember were catching in the latch and stopping the relevant parts moving despite the levers attached to the handles working. and in true landy fashion a couple of cable ties holding them out of the way has done the trick and not had a problem since.
