bmw v12

found another engine for project nutter 2 door (2)

5l bmw v12..(same base engine as mclaren, but 5l not 6), .will it fit in classic engine bay.??

300hp..supercharger 500hp...ohhhhhhhhh

think abit of wee escaped then..



so far either northstar 4.6 v8....or mopar 383..or above

A old boss of mine had an 850CSi Sport with the S70 5.6 litre V12...that thing was awesomely rapid....

383 is a big wide v the bm engine is a tidy unitbut electronics in the box are a pain and tend to go into limp mode unless you dont use the box north star engine kicks ass in so many ways and wiring looms are available in the states to make it a plug and play unit

re 383..it will fit..have a blown lexus v8 in one..that fits and its cheap power and easy bolt on to gearbox....

v12..now if it fits....i will be supercharging and running megasquirt......not a cheap excersize..but..1g for engine +500 for ms +500 for s/c...but silly power and noise...very tempted

Why nt try a Jaguar v 12 im sure there are plenty of cheap ones out there and then put nitros on it that will give you serious power

wont fit..but bmw v12 is only 30 inch long!!

i run supercharged 2door lexus powered with megasquirt...

What about an x300 jag xjr straight 6? "Only" 330 bhp I know but they have phenomenal torque and are very reliable.

I saw a Jag V12 in a series a few years ago.

If you want to borrow the adaptor plate out of my 3.5 that I took out on Thursday then you are more than welcome. Thats the bit I was swearing at when on the phone Its got the crank shaft bolt layout (That you were asking for) and will fit in a jiffy bag.
