Bloody Gremlins

Me roof lights came on all on their own at the weekend. & flattened me bloody Battery.

So given that both pairs are individually wired with their own relays. and the switches are fed from the highbeam feed. How the fook did they switch on.

With the lights off, and the ignition off. There is no way to get electrickerry to the lights .

Or at least none that I can think of. I'm guessing relay is goosed and the live from the battery has jumped the switched terminals inside the relay.


Any one else fancy an edumacated guess??

you were'nt parked near an American air base . those aliens might have mistaken your landie for a nuclear bomb and fecked up the wiring trying to disable it.

Nope but I was in Wales so the Locals might have mistaken it for a sheep and tried shagging it??

relay, could be you is feeding the earth terminal and earthing the live, which distorts things internally, take the cover off and look at them, are they rated high enogh amperage?

Not wired wrong I is wired enuff lights to know not to fook em up. also live can't get to the relays unless highbeam is on and the dash switches are depressed. neither of those situations were present when the lights fooked up.

I reckon mine is dodgy or waterlogged relays as I'd done strata earlier, in the day.
