hi was looking to get my facts right before i dismantel anything i dont hav to,was going to take propshaft off freelander 2000 plate,as i heve lound noise comeing from seems back/middle of f/lander,do i have to take the full prop off or just the back bit,and what tools will i need,and how would i kno if my ird is fine,cheers.
 
there are no special tools needed, a good socket set will do the job. you could leave the front, then you don't need to blank off the IRD.:welcome2: google Bell engineering, there is an explaination on there how to check IRD VCU etc.. cos i hate typing.

Wots the point of us going to the bother of finding stuff and writing things for members if pratts like you keeps pointing peeps to other sites?

:doh: no wonder children don't want to act adults!! Surely this site was set up to help people with landrovers. So far i have seen a lot of people with a lot of experience offering help to others. but you do have your fair share of abusive knuckle scraping illiterate ****ers on here too. Fookin lovin it tho lol.
