up untill 2 weeks ago my range was always at about 24mpg around town and 28 on a run, then all of a sudden the car just starting using diesel for the fun of it, the highest ive got it over last couple of weeks is just over 18. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions i would be really grateful, i have recently changed oil, and all filters so theres no prob with old oil or clogged up filters.

cheers guys realy need help

If the mpg drop happend at or shortly after you changed filters. Try running it without the air filter for a couple of days and see what you get. There is not a lot of dust around in this weather to do any harm. It maybe that the new filter is more restrictive than the old one was. Other than that a intercooler flush may do some good.

I had a similar problem combined with poor performance, turned out to be the in tank lift pump.

Replacement pump sorted MPG & performance.

:welcome2: Look at the leak off pipes before you start changing expensive bits.
