beeping after entering car

hello

HG fixed, clutch master slave replaced, radiator replaced. things seem fine or did

99 petrol freelander, when i disable the alarm and enter the driver seat the damn thing keeps making a beeping sound till i press disarm again. any thoughts? more annoying than anything else.

done a search nothing relating to this problem found,

maybe the keyfob battery needs replacing

Yep its the key fob battery, the beep is to warn you the system has detected a "weak" signal caused by a dieing battery.

thasnks i'll give it a try,it was new battery fitted not long ago

but hey means didly squat when you buy asda smart price

agree with the others , mine was doing it and changed the fob battery..
Landrover actually change it on the annual service so looks like 12/15 months is max on a battery.

Mines been doing that since i cant remember, with both key fobs. I changed the batteries now its not beeping. Congratulations you have fixed a problem I never even knew i had !!!

So that's what that is - might fix that.
