My plan is just to stick with 5HP24s for now, and I won’t be working on vehicles – transmissions only (i.e. the interesting bit)!

I thought the press in the photo was the one from my archives of research that I carried out while I was plucking up courage to strip mine apart but it must be a new one.
Not that I am a fan of your work or anything

Hi all, just an update. i have had the drive shaft replaced with the original set up as i wasnt quite sure about the £1100 price tag. i can report that the difference even with the old style prop fitted is quite noticable considering that i didn't think it was noisey before it broke!!

Still waiting for land rover who have acknowledged my request/question and Kevin is looking into it...we shall see what transpires.
I also fitted a new final stage resistor for the fan and that now works as it should
