Well after finally completing my TD to 200TDi conversion last weekend my 90 was in for it's MOT today which of course had expired while it was in bits

Good news! It passed with just a couple of minor bits to sort out :D:D:D It only needed a rear wheel bearing tightening and a bracket making for the oil cooler pipes and another bracket for the power steering pipe. Sorted in no time so I've now got a shiny MOT certificate and am back on (and off!) the road

Of course I hadn't been able to try out the 200TDi apart from on our back lane until this afternoon and I'm well happy with the conversion. Loads more power, much smoother and quieter than the old TD - really chuffed with meself :D

Cheers

Lucky git! I've still got a few bits to sort with mine. I need to get the radiator and the intercooler in and I've got an exhaust down pipe on it's way(Thanks Oil Dripper!) Other than that, the fuel line is all plumbed (apart from a small section of pipe to join the tank return on the pump to the tank return pipe). I can't see the intercooler pipes being a big issue really. I'm making do without oil cooler pipes for the time being because I need to get them extended, or buy some new ones (I bet I can find some cheap somewhere).

Should be up and running by the end of next week really!
Can't wait :D

So it sounds like your 200TDi is in then? I fitted my downpipe before fitting the engine to make life easier - you may struggle to get access to the bolts otherwise though I know you can just fit smaller allen head type bolts if needed anyway.

I've replied ref the oil cooler pipes on your progress thread but I got mine extended over the counter while I waited in the end though it did cost me!

If you want a nosy at mine at any stage then just shout - any excuse to take the Landy out for a spin now ;):):D

Cheers
