Are there any 1.8 Petrol Owners out there??

Hi Guys,

As you may know already, we bought a 1.8 5 door adventurer.

What sort of MPG do you get from yours (cue lots of jokes from Minge, Mondeo & silly hat)

Just had a weekend in Somerset which comprised of 200 miles of Friday afternoon/evening motorway (not nice) a trip round the safari park at Longleat & the rest round the country lanes.

Did 350 miles on a tank averaged 30 MPG, didn't think that was too bad??

What about you?

Not bad ,i got bout 35-40 mpg till my turbo hose went t@ts ,then did bout 24 mpg [sob]. . .

Forgot to mention - Air Con was on most of the time 'cos I didn't realise it came on automatically when you direct the air to the windscreen!

I managed to cover 320 miles to a tank (£46 @88.9 /Litre)

This was 50/50 town driving and country lane 60MPH.

I shall see how the next tank fares.
