Are 200tdi front Diffs serviceable

what do you mean move ,diffs have taper bearings so while rotating freely shouldnt have endfloat or side ways movement etc,if you have other than rotational movement it needs new bearings, there will be some movement in transfer box end as is supported by ball bearing on outer end and center diff on inner

the cross pin in the diff centre will have worn elongated holes in the differential cage itself. this ios a common issue on 10 spline diffs for sure, does create clunking. it will not do any harm but is annoying.

it is not serviceable as the parts are worn.

cheers

Ok as long as it don't give out on me when I'm playing in mud! there is some movement in the prop apparently, as my mate has the truck atm. But it's done over 1500 miles recently. Also, my gearbox has a clunk into 3rd - and there's noise into 2nd but understand that's normal - a fault with those boxes? - and can be a pain to get into high gears sometimes
