My Disco 1 needs a new clutch, does anyone fancy giving me a hand doing it you will be supplied with tea snacks or beer and my eternal gratitude. Also i will pay for your time but not at a gazzilion pounds an hour :)I am an acceptable grease monkey but have never tackled such a big job before.
If not its £300 to mr clutch which i dont have :(

I'd loved to have been able to help ya mate but i'm toooo far away.

Shame as i've just done my Disco 2 td5 TWICE!!!! due to a brand new kit being faulty first time round  so im getting to be a dab hand at it now lol

Good look in your search

Make sure you have a strengthened fork for the replacement-did mine following the guide on here-not too bad a job-I used 2 x trolley jacks to support transmission weight to avoid cuddling it, as it is f*****g heavy

Hire an engine hoist to support the gearbox. Haynes suggests that way and others on this forum.
Could be worth replacing the slave cylinder at the same time if it has not been replaced before.
