hi peeps im at the end of my teather with v830 it been on thing after another since i bought the disco
first battery:eek:
waterpump :confused:
hub aasy:eek:
radiator
ace leako_O
power steering liquid turned to cheese:(
various pipe bursts:mad:
the tyres seeem to go down for no reason:rolleyes:
overheating :rolleyes:
brakes:oops:
rear wiper inop:rolleyes:
clutch and flywheel need replacing :mad:
and of course the three amigos are regular visiors:rolleyes:
now i think the head gaskets gone but never to be one to give up and not having £700 = to have a garage fix it im giong to do the head myself;)
ive changed an engine before and done a few clutches b4 so im not totally useless any one near hexham newcastle fancy giving me a hand sometime next week ? your place or mine
i can pay for fuel and suppy lashings of tea and cake :D
 
anyone know if the ace fluid and ps fluid can get into the head ? my cars building up pressure and busting hoses and the pas ans ace fluid has gone creamy

No
The PS only goes from reservior to pump to box and back
The ACE only goes to the rams back and front via the pump and block on the chassis rail

thanks bigeeeeeeeeeeeeeee he recons hes a 4x4 specialist? i think not
been quoted £200 + parts for head gasket that usual sounds unrealistcly chea

When you say creamy do you mean in colour or texture? When ps fluid has got air in it it goes light pink and frothy textured. Check it without the engine running after it's been stood a while
