im thinking ov putting a 300 tdi in my 1991 rr at present it has a 3.9 v8 auto i need to stay automatic due to disability just wondering if i will have to change the gearbox ect any help would be appricated

Hi. As i understand you will need to change the gearbox as well to make sure the gear changes are right for the engine. Someone will be along shortly with the info you need.

not sure about the gear changing but this would make it fit. chances of getting a diesel auto box are pretty slim!

do the diesel engines in p38's fit? i mean if the p38 petrol g/b fits the p38 diesel engine then the p38 diesel engine should fit the g/box daz has got??? confused myself there!!!
