Hi, I have a disco 2 td5 and the remote has started playing up, will not operate central locking in morning with either key fob, by afternoon usually works. I have changed batteries with no difference. I can get into car but alarm goes off, and will not start, when fob doesent work. I am wondered g if it is immobiliser or sensor for central locking or maybe just car battery on its way out. This has only just started after days of rain. Has anyone got any pointers for me?
Thanks
Ian

Roof receiver is the first suspect... other issues can be as in the attached bulletin(just read 433 instead of 315MHz the rest is the same

Thanks for that info , I will try that, are they just plug and play or do I need to sync it to fobs and vehicle ?
Thanks

Mine has done similar for years only when the weather is cold or wet. I get over it by opening with the key (don't open the door), then close it with the fob. The door will then operate normally with the fob. Works for the rest of the day with the fob.

This is symptom is covered at point 5 of that bulletin also there is a dedicated bulletin for that too, the gist is that by using the key in the lock "wakes up" the BCU
