It does take some hours, more than any repair would take, but its really addictive and enjoyable and satisfying that you do it yourself so well worth it in the end, hope it does inspire some, if i can manage it im sure anyone with a few brain cells canjust takes patience and the guts to start! Im not even done yet might be crap!
done something like that on my old hippo , made it into a double din to fit a cb radio in , but didn't have to cut any metal out the way
didn't want it bolted on the side and look horrible
will look good mate when it's done, after all it's ur motor and as long as ur pleased with it that's all that matters
