After market overheating/temperature alarm

Hi All,

I've just replace my head on a 300tdi after I cooked it during my return from Morocco (I live in Spain). Turns out it was head gasket failure (cheap one from ****part) and I've replaced it with a new head with extra waterways and a 5ply metal gasket -job done....

I would like to purchase a cheap alarm systems that beeps when the engine is over temperature - anyone have any ideas please?? I've looked on the web and all seem to be very expensive.

have you checked radiator is hot all across core and not just one side

dont your eyes work then?

whats wrong with looking at the temp gauge
