Thats illegal and an MOT fail for more than one reason, 1. not vertical 2. incorrect font 3. incorrect letter/number spacing. Pop it down i'll do a propper MOT on it for yamy rr has passed 3 mots with a stuck on one on the bonnet and ive never had a prob with the rozzers

It also going to depend on the copper and mot tester. It they want to be an arse they will cause trouble.

fails a fail, bud, dont get upset. And font is wrong.so the 3 independant garages are wrong for using common sense then
im sure in the big scheme of things a number plate isnt a hanging offence most mot testers use common sense, some are people with nothing better to do than scrutinise a vehicle and only find a number plate, but hey if they wanna waste there time failing an mot on a number plate issue that isnt an issue and then have to waste there time doing a free retest when they could be carrying out paid work fair play to them
the letters are spaced correctly and the font is not alterd in any way.
3 mots and none mentioned the number plate
dont tell me tell the 3 different mot testers that passed it,it cant be that wrong and it didnt failfails a fail, bud, dont get upset. And font is wrong.
Whats common sence got to do with anything were talking about VOSA here a government agency , i didn't say i would fail it, i said it is a failable item, that no. plate IS illegal.so the 3 independant garages are wrong for using common sense then

Me mate sent his motor through a MOT at kwok fit the other day, with italics and play boy bunny gubbins and incorrect spacing. He told his missus to get em to change the number to the pucker one, but she forgot. Sailed striaght through. Still dodgy, still a fail.If they missed simple stuff like that wot else did they miss?dont tell me tell the 3 different mot testers that passed it,it cant be that wrong and it didnt fail![]()
