Can anyone tell me how I remove the abs sensor from my front wheel as I need to replace it? I can simply unplug the top plug.

I have a downloaded copy of Rave but I cannot find anything to do with abs. it will be good if you can give me a page number. thanks

Ok, a carryon after replacing the new sensor. The light still stays on after driving it.
Any ideas would be much apprieciated, i would like to remove the system all together but not sure how big a job it is.

Guessing would be another faulty sensor or an ecu fault.
Have u done the test with the paper clip to get a 'blink' code.?
Removing ABS will require removing the matrix, replacing master cylinder and re -plumbing most of the pipework, to disable it it's just pull the ABS system fuse I believe.

Just saw that...Removing everything which is ABS related will not shut down the warning lamp, it's conceived to come on if there's open circuit or no feed to/from the ECU as ECU fault or blown fuse to be covered, the lamp goes off(most of the warnings are the same) if gets positive(above 9V) feed from the ECU on the earth path which means the system is OK otherwise the instrument pack's internal circuit completes the earth path to iluminate the lamp, you must find the wire from ECU to the warning lamp and connect it to an ignition feed if you want the lamp off with ECU removed

Can anyone tell me how to test an abs sensor using a multi meter? I bought a new abs sensor and it still shows a fault with that wheel so wondering if that sensor is faulty.
