I was told that I should post this in the land Rover section instead of the range rover section. anyways I have a 95 range rover county lwb. My heat/ac switch is messing up I have to be half way between 3 and 4 to get the 3rd fan speed to work and the 4th doesn't work at all. Does anyone know if this can be fixed and doesanyone know a company that makes the sticker for the front or something bc it is crumbling to pieces

Also not sure if that is kinda confusing might make a video when I get home in about 30 minutes and post the link

You have the same heater system as the early Discovery, this link will give you some part numbers. http://www.allbrit.de/UNI.cfm?SPRACHE=EN&PAGE=808148
And Welcome to the Discovery Forum :)
Do you know what part I would need. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about in that position the 3rd fan speed will work and if I push the switch part to the right with some pressure the forth fan speed will work it started out where the 3rd speed would work just fine where it's supposed to and the forth would work but every once and a while I would hit a big bump and it would just stop working

That looks like the later 300 series dash heater switch, therefore the link I gave you isn't any good.
The switch u show wdoesn't seem to have any issues from what I've seen in the forums, not to say they don't.
What the switch does is select a position on a 'variable' resistor pack which is mounted on the side of the heater box so fairly accessible, on uk vehicles it's on the passengers side of the heater box.

How do you remove the ac module from the dash
Pull the rotary knobs off you will see a couple of screws or so, remove the screws as well the knob for the blower slider switch and the front plate of the dash can be removed, then the four screws, one on each corner of the heater control panel if u need to.

If you had the early dash switch arrangements, which u don't as u have the round heat controls you would find the switch arrangement as the photo below, don't try an source a switch as mentioned in the other post as it's wrong.

Do you know of anyone getting an ac switch from a 99 to 04 discovery to work? They look similar is size and are a lot cheaper and easier to come by. I also like the look of it over the one I have now

I guess i will be on the look out for a new one while I try to figure out if I can fix it still not really sure what part I need to replace. Or even how to remove it from the dash itself i can get in unscrewed and everything just not sure how to remove it
