6x4 Range Rover Pick Up eBay

Just seen this on eBay, description mentions "only a few made" or something to that effect.

I know Land Rover Special Vehicles did some wonderful things, but I didn't think adding another axle and making it into a pickup would be something they did?

I'd be more inclined to think it was a hybrid of 2 Rangies,

If so, excellent welding and grinding on the rear panels

Surely from the effort involved you just repair the leak?

Uh huh... So how does it start run and drive if there aren't any carburettors attached to the inlet manifold?

That is unless that picture was taken before the engine had been replaced because of an 'oil leak'.

I saw one something like that many years ago in Ireland. They were using it as a camera car on the making of Braveheart....
