5door flexi arch fitting pics help

Just got some flexi arches for my 5door disco 1
Can any one help me out on how to cut out the doors ??
Has any one got any good tips to make a nice job finishing off the Bottom of the doors ???
Any pics would be most helpful ??

There was a thread on here if you search. He cut strips into the rear door and folded it over to fill the gap and then filled it. Looked a tidy job. Alot of people don't bother and just cut the doors without any bother from the gap at all.

when I did mine i lined the top of the arch to the swage line running down the car. got my mate to hold it there whilst I drew the ine around the underside of the arch.

Search for Sideways Ste. It was his thread, I believe.

Just get somebody to hold arches in position an mark line with marker and cut with angle grinder on outside of line. Always better to leave a bit too much than take too much off. Then just keep trying and trimming till perfect fit. I used some old rubber hose to fill gap in double skin on rear doors. Jammed it in right and filled with black silicone. Seems to have done the trick and looks tidy. Ill try find some pics for u now.

I have fitted them had to cut a lot of the door off then siliconed the gap .
The frount and back arch I cut then rolled them back to Shape .i also Painted a bit of Rust proof Paint over all the bits that needed it . It took me 2 Evenings to conpleat it all it was not has hard as I thought it was going to be haha thanks for all the help tho !!

Haha believe it or not but my camera is a bit ####ed on my phone but will try and put some up ASAP the only problem is that my wheels look 2small now .i have got some 265/75/16r on it at the mo but my bro has got some 35 Special tracks I have got my eye on !!! Haha I am thinking maybe a 2" body lift and nicking his wheels . They look like they would just fit in now might Rub a bit tho ? ?? Has any one put 35 on with only a 2" lift and cut out arches ???

Well would be interested to see as i have 265 70 16 bfg a/t's on mine with a 1" lift, and looking to put on 30 mm spacers so i can get my steering lock back and not sure to put on the flexi arches too....so need to see some examples
