Currently in the middle of a chassis/bulkhead swap on my TD5 110 truck cab.
I’m getting to the stage where I’m going to split the body and I’m considering turning it into a King Cab whilst I’m at it. I’m planning on fitting a flatbed/tipper eventually but in the mean time I’m thinking of cutting out the internal section of rear bulkhead and riveting it back 17” back or so, and then making up the sides with some van sides, and finishing the roof with a cut down double cab roof. Eventually I’ll make up the rear bulkhead into a HCPU one, so I can fit the tipper.
Has anyone done this before, and have any photos of the process, or advice (or bits you’re selling) etc etc, thanks!
