can anyone please explain why and what benafits the 300tdi firing order of 1342 is aposed to the usual 1324

1342 is usual firing order ,it has to go 1 and 4 are up when 2 and 3 are down so as it fires twice per revolution ,same on any engine ive come across

I think it was old Ford Kent engines that were 1243 or something odd,most are 1342.
