300tdi auto front prop snapped and hit my gearbox/sump

I have a 1997 discovery 1
300tdi auto the other day I was driving down the road when my front prop snapped and made a loud bang and when I looked underneath there was a hole in my gearbox/ sump just wondered weather it needs whole new gearbox or just sump replacing ? I have attached the photo of the damage

needs another box , its quite common i used to fit the internals in to a another case,another box is simpler

Ho dear that isn’t good, it’s not the sump as that’s the bit below with the drain plug fitted, have to look at the exploded view of the gearbox to see if the damage is done to a replaceable part.

Unfortunately not a simple replacement part.
