Hi everyone, so here we go again D2 had had a new OSF hub and sensor and new handbrake shoes and now I've got 3 amigos on and parking brake light on all the time. Any Ideas? I've checked all the usual items, i.e parking brake switch, brake fluid, live date on all 4 hubs are reading the same! TIA

Hi, in this case the only way is to read the fault code... the "handbrake warning light" is part of the ABS diagnostic protocol too, it should be there all the time together with the 3 amigos if the fault is short or open circuit somewhere. If no code strored then the ECU is suspect. See attachment

I had a mate who had this issue. His brake fluid level was low, he topped it up and the brake light went out.
Needless to say he still had the 3-Amigos.

I recently had brake light plus abs and tc on only. No hdc. Also no error codes found by nanocom.
Happened 2 times so far, and if i restart the car all gone and do not come back for days.
They showed up both times during slow turning.

Sounds like dirt has got in and may effect the readings ...

If it’s of any help, when my D2 had a new hub it didn’t like having the ABS sensor connection disturbed. Cleaned out the crusty connector and 3 Amigo’s were ‘Vamos’!
