I have just had 4 amigos appear on my dash
The usual 3 plus the brake warning light
Unfortunately I’m on holiday in Scotland without my nanocom
I’ve previously bypassed the internal connection
I’m now suspecting actual switch failure
But can’t diagnose till I get home
Has anyone had a problem with 4 lights and not just the usual 3 ??

Actually the 4 would be the correct behaviour all the time according to the diagnostic protocol(attached) but they appear only if the fault is a "solid" open or closed cicuit especially for ABS sensors. For intermittent or partial issues the usual 3 amigos are coming on... if the code is for SVS depends how you bypassed the circuit cos there are tutorials online which are wrong where they splice into the switch's wires and let the connector there as in that case the modulator's internal short circuit comes in parallel with the bypass. The only correct way is to cut and prolonge the two swicth wires out and get rid of the SVS connector. Read the code first

Thanks Sierrafery
I’ll start going through when I get home next weekend
I need the switch block out again as the video I followed was to put an additional connection so that need changing
Then take it from there 👍

The correct way is in the attachment except that additional connector which IMO is useless, just connect the prolonged wires one to earth the other to yellow/green wire which you have to cut as well as the side which goes into the modulator's multiplug to be left "in the air", no splicing anywhere which means that the switch pack's output goes directly to the SLABS ECU without being connected to anything else if you see what i mean

Good morning
Here goes
plugged nanocom in and cleared faults for NSF and OSR sensors
ABS light didn't go out tiIl id cleared the faults again and drove it twice
now I have no lights on
No faults stored
TC works in mud
ABS doesn't work at all
also TC kicks in and works when turning left under power but not when turning right on Tarmac
voltage from all for sensors is between 2.19 and 2.21 it varies when Nanocom is reading the input settings
When parked wheel speed reads 1.7 from all 4 wheels
i think its seeing a speed difference when turning left but i cant tell which side is braking

After further investigation this afternoon the NS wheel bearing was well beyond its sell by date and when i removed it the sensor literally fell out

new bearing ,new sensor no more problems

It happens to me as well... I executed the "Option B" last week on my Defender Td5 110 (2001), and I got the 3 Amigos back today.
Anything else I can check? Any pin to test in the ECU you can guide me?

Thanks.

Can you start a new thread and a Mod will move this question ? As any answers will be lost in the other posts...
