Today i managed to finalize the paperwork for our 2017 trip but unfortunately it does not involve any overland journeys in the Range Rover the main reason being that there are no roads or tracks to this place.
This trip involves a flight from Gatwick to Moscow then another flight from Moscow to Anadyre which is an isolated town on the east coast of Russia. Then we have booked a Russian boat that is built for Arctic conditions to take us up through the Bearing staites to Wrangle Island which is well above the Arctic Circle and lies on the date line.If you want to see what its attractions are use this link

Altough we dont go untill August the paperwork has to be completed by 23rd June and that means all flights had to be booked hotels booked and then we could apply for a Visa andi finally got that back today so it was cutting it very fine.
