lowering springs will ruin your suspension geometry at the front, you will also find that you have clearance problems on greenlanes (unless by greenlanes you mean farm tracks that are partly surfaced) if you were to swap any disco axles into it do the rear so you get disks all round

i have to question why you want to go lower though if its for better road holding you will have just ruined your castor angle so your steering will be twitchy

I have fitted rear disco axel already so already have discs all round.

I only asked if there were lowering springs out there not a leture!!!

Hey mate!! Google a company called 'Green Oval Racing' my mate has a 90 done by them which will go faster than an Mitsu Evo.. He has had his lowered and has a 5ltr supercharged RR V8 lump in it... Purely a track car but there are lowering kits and plenty of people who do it!!

Hope you find something!!

Sible if you supercharge its another engine TBH compression is way different and the ones that were done years ago were crap to a normal V8 unless the turbos were spinning up. I'd personally get a 3.5 twin SU rebuild it PROPERLY no fancy stupid high reving Cams or owt just put together matched and setup. You will be amazed how Good a newly Properly rebuildtV8 is compared to the Thousands of old hacks about mainly thrown litrally into old seriesmotors because their old engine blew up and its V8 Mate! Its way good listen to it ....................Cough splutter missing on 2 cylinders etc Aint it nice! its way faster than the old engine (that was probably never serviced tuned or looked after in 20 Odd years) Rant over Soo many motors have V8's thrown in Do it properly do it once.

It took Spitfiremk1uk to convert a 90 to factory V8 a few days correct NEW gearboix correct harness' correct rad and all pipework It cost a bomb but was done right. The engine was a complete blueprinted engine I have the stats somwhere. It then took him many many trips back and forth to the rolling road to get it jetted correctly once done the guys there was sure it was not a 3.5. I remember driving this 90 around our model flying field it would pull away in 3rd no problem serious torque figures. I'll see if I can dig them out.

All very good jai but I don't want the 3.5. The 3.9 is a stronger v8 and faster from factory. If I stick carbs on mine and jet it on a rolling road which I am gonna do. It will still be faster!! My v8 come from a mint disco with 87,000 miles on the clock with full service history!!

Don't see what this has to do with springs anyway?

3.9 isnt stronger just bored out 3.5 ,later 4litre and 4,6 have bigger journals and cross bolted block ,but weaker bores that 3.5
