Hi all, hope someone can advise me on my woes. front n/s brake pipe
crroded and leaking, made new pipe up pressure bled in sequence all
round no pressure on pedal swopped master cyl re bled no pedal
I can get it hard on two pumps let it rest a minute back to no pedal
Im really stumped now 3 days been at it and now my head hurts
and im having to use eurobox :crazy::violin::censored::faint2:
cheers Stuart

depress pedal fully but slowly 5 times then release it and wait 10 seconds......if bubbles are coming up in the reservor that means some air was trapped in the master cyl., u have to repeat this procedure untill it'll get clear of bubbles.....sometimes u have to be very patient an insistent on this. By the way did u use a hose dipped in liquid when u've bled the calipers?

Am i right thinking that yours is a non ABS one?......if yes then the only piece remained in question if the system is clear of air and the mas cyl is good is the pressure reducing valve

Did you observe the odd bleed sequence on the 200?

I assume yours has two front brake pipes?

In which case you have to bleed the two lower nipples at the same time and then the upper one iirc, for each front Caliper.

Cheers

Many thanks for your help I bled the system using an easybleed from the spare wheel
starting at the N/s rear. O/S front.O/s rear. N/S front I did bleed the front caliper
nipples individualy so I will try them in pairs. Ill let you know how I get on
Thankyou very much Stuart:frusty::frusty::confused2:

Yeah, urm,

You should be bleeding NSR, OSR, NSF then OSF.

As I say, for front Calipers immfair sure it's bottom two then top one alone, but double check in Haynes.

Cheers.
