Just got this home from my Grandmother's. I don't know much about Land Rovers so any input would be great. I plan to restore this vehicle.:D I will post more as I go

Kinell, that's a beauty!
Looks like all it needs is a straight front bumper, an original paint job and ditching of the side-steps and front spots.

I guess that's what the Southern Californian climate does for you.
 
Looks nice :) But please strip all that orrible paint of the galvo bits (Windscreen frame, Cappings ect ect)! Would much better then :)
 
Love it, you lucky bugger that looks sweet as a nut and as you're in California is doesn't matter that the heater doesn't work and it's drafty as hell.
 
i like the shag pile carpet.
I thought it was a dead bear !
All I'd do to that truck is rip the truck cab off and get hoodsticks and a canvas tilt on it - then you will have just about the most desirable LR there is.(Apart from mine which is also a 63 IIA 88" - with no straight panels and a bit of faded bronze green paint.)
