Pulled the windscreen frames and will strip and post pics. What do you mean by cappings?

the cappings are usualy the bits that are galvanised, top edge of the pickup back , the bits with the hooks on , around the lights , rear corners by lights , basically the bent steel frames rivited to the landrovers corners ,

thers usualy galvanised rather than painted apart from military applications

My rebuild for the brake master cylinder should be here by Wednesday so I started a little work. I will take a few parts to work for some sand blasting and painting.
