All of them... it's the 6' restriction on most public waste tips that's the ****er!

i was in an underground car park today in brighton. had about an inch clearance the whole way round. was hanging out the door the whole time. i had visions of ripping the roof bars off!

I took my 90 into a car park and only realised how close the barrier was when half way through. Think it was marked at 6'6" but I guess it was a little higher and I just got through after scraping the top coat of paint off me roof! It was when I came to coming back out that I realised there were no bollards next to the barrier so I just drove round it! What's the point in a height barrier when you can just drive round it?
I'll not forget being at the Markham Moor McDonald drive thru on the A1 where some daft sod in a hire box van had driven into the height barrier (made of RSJ) and kept going until it had bent over and come down between the cab and the box body. Wonder if he lost his deposit?

I'm from Australia, and in my humble opinion, the best Land Rover ever here was the 3.9 litre Isuzu diesel powered series 3 stage 1 and the 110.
They are very much sought after here but very few seem to hit the market.

apparently the story oot in Oz is "if yu wanna go bush - go in a LR - if yu wanna come back - go in a Toyota"

plse dont shoot the messenger:D

Its ok mate I have a buddy over here in sunny england who goes to the bush on 6 month holidays and he has a toyota.... He also noted that landrover are the best but they are so expensive on parts thats why ppl dont use them.

Theres no slot for a 130 double cab , its more than just a defender:)

Toyota certainly has the majority of the market in OZ was a good earner recovering them when the gearboxes gave out ( weak 5th gear)
They used to ask why I had a 130 , had to explain that the train weight limit towing a trailer made it illegal to tow a trailer with a L/cruiser on with another l/cruiser. 7400kg GTW with 130 .

Well if they still built them I would have another 110 300tdi. Cant do with all these computers they complicate motors with now. If they brake down now its more often than not a computer fault or electrical fault. At least with a proper landy you can diagnose the problem ya self with a few spanners, instead of a stupid laptop and expensive software..... Sorry but they making things over complicated nowa days....

this one is quite cool
