ok trying to get a 2010 Revere HSR Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE loaded on a truck cause key has failed, done the usual gear surround out & pulled cable but nothing any ideas folks
Cut the cables and prepare for open wallet surgery
If the cable inside has been pulled it should have release the handbrake, easiest thing is to cut the cables and you should hear them go bang and release, looks like you will be needing a new park brake module with cables and the drum removed inspected and possible replacement.
When you last used the handbrake did it make a screaching noose?
True, but at least the P38 has less IDLooks like a p38 underpigeon !!
Another idiot design feature that would stop me buying one and that car is just pug ugly.

:hysterically_laughi& a expensive one at that, also glad I didn't cut the handbrake cables have you seen the price of them £500![]()
come with no keys as it was a repo, also had small fire in boot area.when unloaded brake was off when we had new key programed it unlocked but wouldn't start so thought best to take it over my mates to sort out but obviously now the brake is on its a big no no![]()
