Save a few quid and go for a TDV8....
More gutsy than the TD6, more frugal than the TD6 and a much stronger gearbox....
+1
Also more complicated, much more expensive to fix and looking at some accounts, the V8 diesel is far from bullet proof.Save a few quid and go for a TDV8....

The petrol V8's are sublime, but you pay for it at the pumps even on LPG if you are town and towing mostly.
I do a good mix of M/Ways Town and Country and I get 15.4mpg average...no towing mind which would kill the MPG figures.

Most common on the TDV8 is the regularity it eats the turbos and the Alternator!
