Tyre size's don't start.

Right before you all start I have done a search. I have 235 75 16. I am looking for maximum tyre width and height I can fit without chopping the bodywork and going above 2" lift as I dont want to #### about with everything else at the momment. What have you guys got on you're d1.

They look good. Any issues off road? I dont mind fitting spacers thats easy I just dont want to cut the bodywork because it can end up looking ****. What width are the wheels?

Ha that's very true! Although the arches were done before the wheels were fitted, so I didn't actively have to alter anything to make them fit, but your very right, they have been chopped to fit the flexi arches :doh: forgot bout that!

245/75/16 only require a slight mod on rear arch (camel cut) as its called. For you another option would be 265/75 or 235/85 as they ar both 32" tall and should fit.

I take you mean 265/75 would need the rear arche's cut? I'll search for that if it's not major ####ing about and just a smallish cut or cut's on the inside of the arch where external apearance isn't an issue I may do it.

yea, you not going to get bigger unless you start cutting... and that means putting bigger arches too! /facepalm. i run 235/85/16 and i had to do a camel cut.

I've got 265/85/16's on mine - no chopping of the body work required.

Although the body work is quite bent at the back where it has come into contact with the tyres...

245/75/16 require a camel cut.

Simple trim of the rear arches trailing edge. Google it and you'll see

You may find that the plastic sill trims will need cutting back a bit on the leading/trailing edges, the rear arch camel cut as previously mentioned and front bumper end caps will need trimming down with anything bigger than 245/75 16.
If your radius/trailing arm bushes are worn then this can increase the amount of tolerance required between wheelarch and tyre
