been inspired

by the pickup'd disco 1 with D3 headlights in next february's LRO and the pickup'd disco 2 a month or so ago. I like them, but fancy a crew cab. so I got my pencils out:
concept 1

it works out to a 124" wheelbase, so the chassis would need extending 2 foot. fancy a soft top/convertible anorl, or at the very least a glass roof. I haven't measured the 110 tub, but the rest is roughly to scale.

no question really apart from yo dawg, whaddaya reckons?
just a bit bored and full of christmas dinner.

and concept 2, still based on a 3door D1, but with no fender parts, the cab chopped off right behind the rear seats, the arse end moved back 2 foot, and lose the silly hump in the roof. This would probably take more work getting the body work behind the doors right.

right, I'm off to see if theres any christmas cake left.

Well from what I can see those ultra ultra low profile tyres are needing wheels, and how are you going to get into that thing without door handles? One of your sketches seems to have an alien on the top, is it ET again.
If I were you I'd be eating and drinking, or is that the problem, you've been drinking too much Vimto

its hard enough to draw one circle freehand, let alone concentric circles! I quit while I'm ahead no door handles. they got no wipers either. anyway, the doors will be remote control operated off the key fob. obviously

As for ET, I like spotlights. its gonna have lots

8x8 FC crew cab pick up, based on a stretched 101, so its not 101 at all. built on a designa chassis, locks on every diff, front two axles steering and powered by a cummins 6bt. armed with a snorkel, raised exhaust. hers gonna be unstoppable. ignore the leaf springs, this bad boys gonna be coil sprung.

the mighty Puddlehunter.

so its escalated a little from a rusty 400 pound disco. night all!!
