With the pain of re-entering the EKA code every time i manage to set the alarm off.
Part Number for the roof receiver module is YWY000120 Its just held in by 2 8mm Bolts behind the roof lining (easy if you have twin sunroofs)

Disco is on its new "ramps" to get under it to work painting the chassis and other metal bits

Chassis has its first coat on, Exhaust Manifold came of far to easy, The running consensus its either Plus-Gas or my neighbours magic skill at tapping it to break the grip

ManifoldReplace.jpg

Manifold Gasket, Drain Plug replaced, Downside was the Water housing was that corroded we couldnt get the top hose to seal, luckily a had a spare TD5 engine knocking around to "loan" me one of it. This led to problem #2 the crush gasket was well crushed. so took a choice of using some instant gasket maker used for sumps etc and the inside the pipe scraped out excess sealant to avoid clogging up something important in engine.

No Signs of Leaks or Over Heating but struggling to get it hot as i suspect the Thermostat is stuck open as soon as engine warms up it starts cooling again. heat shield back on round turbo, still needs a circlip on the Turbo Wastegate actuator, Rocker cover gasket replaced and tighten up, seal clean to see if leaks from rear again.

Decided to stop being tight and buy new thermostat and new waterhousing and gasket, also new acc belt as this one is squealing, Car been jacked up on rear to make water flow towards drains

16/01/21
Thermostat Replaced
Accessory Belt Replaced
Water Housing Gasket replaced

My Neighbour got dragged into this one(Cheers) so the Thermostat was abit of pig to remove, top pipe off first and bottom two, The water temp sensor didnt want to come off and the brass nut deformed so decided just to put gasket in and hope for best.
Think its bled up but with no MOT can't take it for a drive
Noticed the tensioner pulley is rough as dog but at time i needed it back on to so thats added to the todo list

Roof material and fiberglass is pretty much destroyed by water, I had it parked on a slight incline which meant water never went to the drain but over flowed into the rear , so the roof ripped out and bits put back on like visor bit etc. Got load of crap in back and starting to think the springs might be tired, Possibly look at restoring it back to air springs

18/01/21
Replaced the bonnet release cable, Not happy with routing yet as it pops at very end of pull
Attempted to remove tyre of the spare rim but got defeated so back to drawing board on that one
