Well I guess you know my problem if you have read the tittle... The TD5 starts and runs perfect but on over run it chugs like mad but by the time you come to a stand still it's running smooth again! Also I have a problem with the automatic gearbox, it drives perfectly until you put a trailer on the back and then the gearbox light comes on to say the oil temperature is too hot :-( It is a 2002 model by the way!

If anyone can help I will love you forever :)

Thanks fellow landys

more info required, manual? auto whatever. Oh and for God's sake post in the introduction part of the forum or you will get serious abuse from the "senior" members on here....they prefer giving abuse to giving advice it seems!!!!!

advice shall be given to those who deserve it not those who post once with a question then bugger off never to be seen again

@dr evil, why tarnish everybody with that brush? Just because I am new here doesn't mean I am going to bugger off as you put it. I will share my findings with the other members, after all these forums are supposed to be a helpful community not a place to be rude to other members, new or old.

so noob you would walk into your local pub cafe resturaunt and ask "Who's going to help me fix my car??" yeah did not think so.Plus as from your side i could tell you its a lose wire on top of gear box near the back. Then after spending three hours on your back looking for said wire(which is not there.)Calm down chill out do a search great info great blokes on here get to no them before you jump to conclusions.

As far as I am aware these forums are here to help people and people can swap info etc etc, if I manage to solve my problems I would of course post my results on here as I'm sure it will help other people in the same boat. However as you all just seem to be rude and offensive I can only conclude that you have no idea what the fault is. It would be much easier just to say so rather than being obnoxious.
