fokin hell!!

actually, its something I've never seen on highly modified trials vehicles.... scuba gear? some kind of emergency breather for driver and passenger?

there's small, about the size of small fire extinguishers, oxygen bottles, maybe fittting 2 in an easy to reach area?

jai, you are well into your trials and stuff, is this something people actually fit or no one thinks about this situation on the video?

I'm getting back into the trialling again. Doing it properly this time. Taking my time building a spare car to last and one I don't mind bouncing off trees. Ashcroft and HD everything and only mods that increase offroad performance nothing bling or OTT just stuff that works.

Don't think they are worried about the water over here too much and if you look he cocked it up as a driver from the start he completly missed the entry gate. Believe me it looked bad but they had a crane and the guy in the water wasn't under for long dispite it looking bad I can't help that if that thing happened here it would have taken alot longer to get them out.

I don't know of any motors running on board tanks. I have been at a trial where the trial beforehand somone rolled in water and it was pretty bad at the time but the marshalls had it susses and the guy was ok.

What is Scary is the marshalls that still dispite years of driving do not understand how to tow a stuck vehicle let alone somthing like that. The main UK guys are pretty good.

I have a serious bare bug with some Marshalls and helpers. They do love to use their winch when a rope and a bit of knowhow would have done the job 10 times faster. It may be a chance to use their bling or wanting to turn on their flashing lights, wear a yellow jacket and feel important. I dunno but some times it really winds me up.

All of the Trials I have attended with our local club anglianLRC.com take saftey really seriously and we all have fun. There is no need for some bstd to cry about saftey and stop all the fun because you can have fun and be safe.

At alot of our events in the past we have had all the equipment and some even cutting equipment to cut roof off cars and roll cages off vehicles in case of an accident aswelll as paramedics.

One event I was laying out a Tyro and the CCV guys were laying out their sections. This one CCV motor instead of going around the inside of the bombhole it slipped in and found that the bomb hole was 20ft deeper under water. Luckily it's rollcage was secured to a 90 and another tried to tow it out to no avail. We eventually hooked it up to my winch and dragged it out backwards while the both the other 90's stopped it rolling over. Winch has a time and place like a highlift handy when you need it useless 90% of the time.
