WTF not again.......!!

Coming home on A3 tonight from work I was doing roughly 70ish

When BANG......then a constant roar......well no warning lights and steering wheel still in hand and going in a straight line.

gets home and Lifts bonnet to be greeted with a drivers side manifold down pipe that has broken off and iss now dumping straight from the pipe.:doh:

Now even louder and the neighbours are getting anoyed......

When I turned up at the pub EVERYONE stopped what they were doing to look and gave the look of WTF is that.


dont think my exhaust likes me and is determined to be replaced with a full stainless system

If you do fancy going down the stainless route try "Longlife" in Basingstoke, they make it while you wait (takes about 2 1/2 - 3 hours)

full stainless steel in cats??

full stainless with tubular fanimolds. No cats as on a g reg.but it does have the bolt holes for lamda sensors.

how far from guildford are you??

God knows how far from guildford. 30 miles or so at a guess. About 10 miles south of j6 of m25 near east grinstead.
As for condition, it has the usual surface rust on it. Boxes are good and tail pipe still shines.

oh, I have to mention that you will need to bend one of the down pipes slightly as it catches the gearbox cross member. Not through being hit. Thats how I brought it and never bothered adjusting it. All fits just a little tight.

sounds like its not tuned right. Could be wrong on that though. My white truck used to do that on petrol but not gas. Brown one is set half way between petrol and gas for some reason.
