I've bought a few tools from there and been very surprised by them, had an 18v battery drill for 7 years, cost £20 and has been horribly abused but it's still outlasted 2 black and deckers and a bosch. The battery finally died this summer just as they had em on offer for £20 again

my mate bought a pressure washer a couple of years back and it sprung a leak, took it apart to find all the internals are karcher branded! one jubilee clip fixed it and its still going strong

On the subject of aldi bargains, i bort one of them arc welders i aint never gonna use so if anyone wants it £40 brand new in box never used wi box of rods anorl

I got the air shears and the cut off tool for the amount i'll use them they are a bargain. They are all the same as Clarke products just rebadged.

I bought a cut off tool when they had them in last time. It works and it hasn't broken, for the money I call that a result. As WindyG says they are the same as Clarke tools from Machine Mart with different badges.

Just got myself the last one from my local store in bristol,
I bought the Impact Gun as well. All looks ok to me. i will put it the test when i respray the 90 in the summer.

So they didn't really look crap - they just weren't heavy duty enough for your purpose ?
