Went round to my mates LPG garage today whos doing up an 89 classic 3.5.
He's got a jag supercharger which hes planning on putting on it. Does anyone know of any good web sites or anyone who might have knowledge of supercharging the 3.5 v8. Thanks

Have no idea on specific to rv8. But PPC ran a series on suoercharger engines. I have the material here somewhere. I could send you a copy if your interested. And if I can find it.

I'm trying to remember the name of the company that used to supercharge 3.5s. I even test-drove one once,. It was for sale but it was at the top of my price range and I decided it was too risky to take on.

Sounds like a lot of plumbing to make up to get that to work - good luck with it!

You also need to reduce the engine's compression ratio, plus I'd speak to my insurers first!

no you dont..compression ok.(even 9.35 will be ok..remember you will be using aftermarket ecu..)..insurance yes..

I thought of a supercharger for the RV8 a while back.
Still have a complete XJR engine and box in the garage for a project..(one day)

Shouldn't be to difficult.

My idea was remove a/c and make up mount to drive the charger where the a/c used to be.
The Jag unit (m90) has a proper inlet and outlet, easy to plum into the plenum.

Remap and away you go!

janspeed did a couple and by all accounts all show no go all the power was lost at low speed where you need it

i ve got a supercharged 3.5 in my garage(in bits)it runs a wade ro34 blower,the intake manifold is custom made with the ports more straight into head,the heads have been also modified so the ports are straighter,i bought it partially stripped down needing put together,just not got time to do it yet (that was about 4 yrs ago)if anyone has the tuning rover v8 engine book there is a picture in there( william browns v8)it was meant to go in my 7 style kit car to replace the 3.5 in it just now.supposedly has easy 350hp.i need to get the finger out of my ass and get this done

m90 too small...need the m112...janspeed cant tune nothing by all account...no one i know has anything good to say on their conversions...(waiting now for long list of people who will state they were a1)
